The Leadership Centre Willow Creek Canada is proud to have Brett Donald, maverick church planter, as the LiveBlogger for The Global Leadership Summit in Canada.

Brett has been in church ministry for over a decade, and is now planting CityLights Church in Burnaby BC.

Previous to CityLights, Brett was in Fort Langley for 7 years as youth pastor, then associate pastor at Living Waters Church.  He undertook two years of youth ministry in Kelowna before moving to the lower mainland. His schooling was with Summit Pacific and Regent College.

Brett enjoys reading and writing, thoughtful movies, and good coffee. He is a strategist and leadership trainer and is currently focusing on starting a new church comprised of gospel communities where disciples make disciples. He believes that those who don’t yet believe in Jesus can be transformed by the humble and powerful love of God. He has a firm conviction that those who are followers of Jesus need to be called and equipped to be the church not just go to church.
